Day 10 of 3,653: Fighting with the IRS!
Day 10 of 3,653 of my NonDē Film career (warts and all). I’m committing the next 10 years from 40 to 50– all in and sharing the process.
From the kitchen table, after bedtime.

Dear Reader,
Today was the beginning of the comeback.
Yesterday, my long-delayed medicine came in!
This medicine is a lifesaver that takes my bruised, battered, and painful body into one that will successfully manage the day nearly pain-free.
Autoimmune diseases suck.
So I cautiously got back into today!
Today’s Film log:
I called the IRS and got a near $7,000 fine reduced to zero (article here)
This was a huge success.
I worked on my script, fixing a few structural changes
I watched SNIPER (1993)
I wrote multiple articles
Today’s log:
Bounced back.
Transitioned my 8-month-old to a new sleep sack!
We can all do it.
Together, with faith.

P.S. How I Sustain the Work
I’m an independent creator. I don’t have a studio overhead or trust fund backing this work. I earn my living through:
Affiliate links, views, and one-time donations (click here).
Sales of The Modern Filmmaker’s On-Set Filmmaking Dictionary on Amazon
Producing industrial and commercial work through Goodworks (you can hire us)
Consulting on individual projects (email me)
And a micro drive-in movie theatre, I’m currently building
None of this is separate from the art.
It’s what allows the art to keep happening.
