Dear Filmmaker,

“This bucket of water is heavier than last year. Is heavier than last week. How the hell did I…?”

LOG #021 of 3,653 (one month in)

This is a realistic view of my NonDē Film career— victories and failures. I’m committing the next 10 years from 40 to 50– all in and sharing the process.

Toady’s Log:

• Was super dad!

• Until we ran out of oil for the house!

  • Tip - an old New England Farm trick — use farm diesel in your furnace in a pinch. We have heat.

Today’s Band of the Day: Sam Cooke (the great)

Today’s NonDē Film Log:

• Approved the final export delivery cut of LAST LAUGHS, my short proof of concept for my NonDē Feature: BURYING DORIS.

• Paid my bar renewal fees. I’m still an attorney, just not your attorney.

• Worked on the NonDē Film Legal Lab. This project will change filmmakers’ lives. I can feel it.

• Got organized.

• Kicked ass.

The Lesson:

• Discipline, consistency, and focus equate to freedom.

We can all do it.
